Do you have a background in Business Development?  Looking for a move into stunning offices for a top music industry player? We need a Director in Hong Kong for a world famous, billion dollar brand that would be an asset to have on your CV.  Our client has over 5,000 staff globally and around 100 in this office

The Candidate

This Business Development Director should be ideally based in either Hong Kong or China and must speak perfect English (written too) as well as Cantonese, and ideally Mandarin (spoken and written).    It is important that you have demonstrated solid experience in business development and can sell to brands and agencies and we'd love to see a deep understanding of brand marketing challenges and sales cycles, with a strong little black book of contacts!

You will be organised, highly commercial with strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills, full of energy, hungry to find opportunities and generate revenue. 

The Role

This role is to drive the growth of local music artists so an interest / experience in the Cantopop scene is KEY. This is a HK based and focussed role.  This BDD will work on business strategies for Brand Partnerships and grow the business. N this area whilst driving to achieve annual revenue targets and manage budgets and ROI. You will support the team during the pitch meetings with brands and agencies, helping to promote collaboration & maintain long term sustainable partnerships with clients.

You will be responsible for deal negotiations with digital service providers, with the objectives to grow monetization, and create value for my clients brands. This BDD will be able to develop strategic initiatives and identify new business opportunities to drive commercial expansion in Hong Kong and Greater China whilst integrating data and analytics into decision-making processes to ensure KPIs are consistently set and measured.
