As part of our Career Comeback placement programme. we are looking for two Creative Strategists who will work at the company's Creative Shop. The team here is a crew of adventurers, dreamers, idealists, entrepreneurs, designers, writers, strategists, data experts and artists who are hungry for crafting new ideas, disrupt industries, improve the status quo, and helps brand tell the stories of tomorrow to the right people at the right time.  

Our Career Comeback offers our community a chance to gain genuine experience in a hands-on, diverse and supportive environment after taking a career break.  Designed to help boost confidence, build relevant skills and make connections in your industry, you’ll be hitting the ground running but with plenty of support to make a success of the six-month opportunity.

The Candidate

As a Creative Strategist,  you will work hands-on to produce beautiful work, in an agile mobile-first culture. These positions are for creators and makers not (sit back) directors! You will learn to channel your passion for provocative, smart, creative ideas along with your skills as a builder to be a great addition to the superpowers of this team. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in the creative world. Other requirements include: 

Being away from the workplace for 6 months or more

Having an editing or motion design background

Preferably being at the level of Associate Creative Director, or junior Creative Director in your last position. 

The Role

As a Creative Strategist, you will bring in superlative storytelling and visual communication skills. Along with extensive knowledge of the region's creative industry, you will also have a good understanding of brand marketing and how to build strategies across multiple verticals. Other requirements include: 

Having a Bachelor's degree or equivalent  

Displaying a strong passion for people and desire to uncover consumer behavior, to help your clients connect with customers in an impactful way  

Being an agile and a quick worker

Having experience with Powerpoint/Keynote with Illustrator, Photoshop, Final Cut or Premiere

Showing an ability to think big and see the wider story and its impact.
